In 2018 I knew that I needed a change from my current role in the school district; at the time, I was working in the district office as a project facilitator–a quasi-administrator role. I knew I needed a change but I was unsure what that change–I didn’t know what would be the next best step for me . . .

So, I took all kinds of classes that interested me. I got two certifications–one in digital marketing and one editing. I got my first client for editing almost immediately but didn’t do much with it for some time. Recently, I have decided to pick it up again, and it’s been wonderful! So wonderful, I want to actively grow my clientele list and my work portfolio. No more here and there, no more wait and see, no more mere mentions in passing over lunch–I’m taking the full-blown initiative and saying: I’m here 🙋🏻‍♀️

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with students and professionals as they have delved into research, or worked to make meaning and convert that meaning into polished written pieces.
